The Best of Scotland with York & London

It is our delight to invite you to join us o a wonderful journey to Scotland and England. We look forward to seeing all there is to experience in this proud and beautiful land. With Highland and lochs and islands, there is much to see. Plus, Scotland’s rich history tells the story of strong people defending their honor, worshiping their God, and even playing a bit of golf. We will complete our tour with a stay i the delightful city of York and a closing visit to London before returning home full of great memories. We are pleased that once again we are using Nawas International Travel to provide our arrangements. Itinerary

Atlanta to Glasgow. Overnight flight from Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport arriving midday in Glasgow, bonnie Scotland’s largest city. The balance of the day is for you to enjoy Glasgow at your leisure.

Glasgow/Stirling/Oban. Visiting Stirling Castle, Bannockburn, Church of the Holy Rude, Loch Lomond. Overnight in Oban, a seaport on the firth of Lorn.

Oban/Iona/Oban. Ferry from Oban to the Isle of Mull, then on to the Isle of Iona where many Scottish kings are buried.  Visit Iona Abbey and return to the mainland to Oban for the night.

Oban/Isle of Skye/Ft. William. Follow the shores of lovely Loch Linne to Glen Coe, then on to Mallaig where you will board a ferry to the Isle of Skye. Visit the magnificent park at Clan Donald Center, then on to Fort William in the shadow of Ben Nevis, Britain’ highest mountain.

Ft. William/Inverness. Travel to Loch Ness from Fort William, then on to Inverness.

Inverness. Enjoy a leisurely day in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

Inverness/St. Andrews/Edinburgh. Depart Inverness for St. Andrews. See the ruins of the cathedral and the castle, and the birthplace of the game of golf. The Royal and Ancient Golf Club, founded in 1754, gave us the rules of golf. End the day in Edinburgh.

Edinburgh. City tour of Edinburgh includes Prices Street and the Royal Mile, the Scott Monument, St. Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh Castle, Greyfriars Church and the Grass Market. The afternoon and evening are free to be enjoyed at your leisure.

Edinburgh/The Borders/York. Leave Edinburgh for Melrose then south to the ancient city of York. Enjoy a tour of this storybook town, York Minster and the Shambles.

York/Oxford/London. Drive south to the university town of Oxford and see the magnificent architecture of the University colleges. Continue to London, where the evening will be at your leisure.

London. The day is entirely yours to enjoy the bustling city of London.

London/Atlanta. Return to Atlanta with wonderful memories of the best of Scotland, York and London!
