Itinerary

Atlanta/Milan. Depart Atlanta for your overnight transatlantic flight to Milan.

Milan/Lake Como. Enjoy a panoramic tour of Milan’s highlights and a picturesque drive en route to Lake Como. After checking in to your four-star hotel, you will be at leisure to take in the breathtaking scenery before dinner. (B, D)

Lake Como/Bellagio/Venice. Partake in a wonderful excursion of Lake Como, passing through Como and Bellagio. In the afternoon, drive east to Venice. Enjoy some free time before dinner as you are introduced to the beautiful island city. (B, D)

Venice. Visit St. Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs with your escort. Then experience Venice’s waterways (weather permitting) on a gondola ride! The remainder of the day is at leisure. Dinner is on your own. (B)

Venice/Ravenna/Florence. Early departure today to travel to Ravenna to see the Mosaics of Galla Pacidia and San Vitale Basilica. Continue to Florence for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

Florence. In the beautiful city of Florence, tour Santa Maria Novella, Santa Croce, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Pitti, and the Accademia to see Michaelangelo’s David. After the city tour, your time is free to explore the city. Dinner on your own. (B)

Florence/Siena/San Gimignano/Pisa/Florence. Leave Florence for a drive to Siena, one of the most popular places in Tuscany. Continue on to San Gimignano then to Pisa to visit the Leaning Tower. Return to Florence for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

Florence/Orvieto/Sorrento. Early morning departure for Orvieto, with Il Pozzo di San Patrizio and numerous underground caves. You will delight in a sumptuous Italian meal for lunch before driving along the coast to Sorrento. Relax with an evening of leisure and dinner on your own in Sorrento. (B)

Sorrento/Capri/Sorrento. Enjoy a full day excursion to the lush little isle that has entranced the world. Transfer by minibus from Sorrento coach terminal to the pier and meet your guide. Jetfoil ride from Sorrento to Capri. A minibus tour of the island will be followed by a row boat ride to the Blue Grotto (weather permitting). Return by jetfoil to Sorrento. (B, D)

Sorrento/Pompeii/Naples/Rome. Have fun on a city tour of Naples and a a stop for lunch. Drive along the Amalfi Coast on the Mediterranean Sea for a breathtaking view of Naples and Pompeii. Continue on to the Eternal City, Rome! (B, D)

Rome. After breakfast, go to the Vatican City when you will participate in a tour of St. Peter’s Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel. The afternoon will include a panoramic tour of Rome. See the Appian Way, Capitoline Hill, St. Peter in Chains, the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus, Piazza Venezia and a visit to the Catacombs. (B, D)

Rome. Enjoy a fill day in Rome at your leisure! You will not want to miss the Spanish Steps or the opportunity to throw three coins into the Trevi Fountain! In the evening, prepare to be enchanted with a farewell dinner and live music at Le Terme del Colossea, located adjacent to the Colosseum in former rooms of the gladiators! Prior to returning to your hotel, enjoy a “Tour by Night” of Rome. (B, D)

Rome/Atlanta. After an early breakfast, you will depart Rome for your return flight to Atlanta, arriving the same day. (B)
